Who
we are...
The Slinger Fire Department has been providing fire services since 1888 when it was first founded by a group of residents. The members of the Slinger Fire Department are made up of residents that live in the Slinger fire response areas. We are proud to provide services to the Village of Slinger, parts of the Town of Polk and parts of the Town of West Bend. We also provide assistance to our surrounding communities through mutual aid to other fire departments.

Our EMS Partner
Lifestar Emergency Medical Services, LLC is our trusted private ambulance partner, providing advanced life support with Paramedic and Critical Care services in our response area. Slinger Fire Department collaborates closely with Lifestar’s team on fire and rescue calls, including vehicle accidents, off-road rescues, trauma incidents, CPR cases, and other emergency situations. Since 2000, Lifestar has been a cornerstone of EMS in the Slinger response area. Their continued partnership enhances our ability to operate independently while maintaining a strong, cooperative relationship when mutual assistance is required.
